I had so much fun photographing this Beautiful bride and her Amazing Wedding! So thankful to always have a second shooter, especially at times when the bride asks for a picture together. 🙂 Thank You Sarah! I love I have this photo of that beautiful summer (though it felt like fall!) day! What wonderful memories!
Welcome to my website! I’m so thankful you stopped by for a visit. 🙂 Since this is titled “About Me” I’m guessing you are interested in who is behind Jaclyn Rae. I am known by most as Jackie, and Jac to my family! But always secretly wanted to go by my full name because I love it (though not always I would beg my Mom to change my name to Denise as a kid-haha) so love using it for my business. I am a Christ follower. I am thankful for His love and passion of photography that He has given me and has opened many doors through it! I am an imperfect person covered by His grace and love. I am a wife to a fun and athletic husband who is a big kid himself! I am a Mom to four kids who have stolen my heart! My three girls and one boy makes life funny, crazy, and full! I am so beyond thankful for each one of them! Being a Mom is my most important, exhausting, and rewarding job. I love coffee and a good book. I LOVE the beach! Salt water and sand between my toes with chili fritos is a good day! I love poolside with friends in the summertime. I love life! Ok, on a side note, do NOT ask me to sing because you will NOT be loving it! hahaha Here is my crazy bunch (minus my hubby not knowing what to do with us all!) down at Emerald Isle enjoying family vacation!
I LOVE people! Through my photography business I have gotten to meet such wonderful people! I love loving on people~ through words of encouragement, a smile, or a good Ol’ Southern hug! Watch out y’all! 😉 I absolutely LOVE photographing Weddings and the sweetness of that day! For me it is pure joy in catching the moments of the day that are expected and unexpected. I LOVE Weddings! I love all the family and kiddos I meet through my business and it has been fun watching them grow behind the lens! Oh how thankful I am for my job and all you out there that make this possible!
Here is the woman who made me who I am today! This is my Mom, the most Amazing lady I have ever known! She was my best friend, my biggest cheerleader! She went to be with Jesus three years ago and there isn’t a day that has gone by that her presence isn’t missed. I felt that a part of myself died when she died and as I was crying to one of her best friends, her prayer warrior (love you Kathy!) she said to me…” Jackie, no you will never be the same, you will be stronger! ” We both knew that stronger meant leaning on the only true One who gives Peace, the only true One who can heal the broken hearted. So as I continue to lean on Jesus to carry me through this journey of life without my dear Mom, may I carry on her legacy of loving people! Loving people and making time stand still for them! Trust me those pictures you will have will be forever treasured! This was my Mom and I on our last vacation together. This snapshot is priceless to me!
